The Region
Fallbrook is an up-and-coming wine-producing area with soil made of decomposed granite– perfect for the vineyards. We’ve found that our climate is ideal for the Rhone varietals of grapes, but we can grow just about anything that can tolerate a little heat.
The Wine
Myrtle Creek Vineyards produces quality red, white, and rosé wines at reasonable prices. We grow Syrah, Grenache, Sangiovese, Sauvignon Blanc, and Viognier grapes on our estate. We also procure grapes from select local vineyards in limited quantities.
All of our wines are hand crafted in small lots in our own facilities, and most of our grapes are farmed by Matt and the rest of the Sherman family right here in the Fallbrook/Bonsall area. We think that our personal care and attention to detail shows in our wines’ character. Come visit us and try it for yourself; you’ll be pleasantly surprised!

2022 Big River Rose’
A full bodied dry rose’ made from our estate Sangiovese, estate Grenache and locally grown Tempranillo. Fruit forward with notes of strawberry and nectarine. Fermented and aged in all stainless steel with no skin contact. 14.6% ABV.

2020 Bird’s Lament
100% Grenache from our estate vineyards. Aged 24 months in neutral French oak. A light bodied red that would pair nicely with poultry. We taste notes of cola, cherry, and a hint of tobacco. 15.7% ABV.

100% estate grown Sangiovese. A fruit forward wine that is tart and perfumy with a hint of raspberry. 13.3% ABV.

A garnet colored Bordeaux-style blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Malbec aged in 100% French oak barrels for 30 months. 15% ABV.

100% Cabernet Sauvignon that stands alone by itself. Grown in a 20 year old vineyard in Fallbrook’s Rolling Hills Estates. 14.3% ABV.
